Japan's Domestic Apparel Ratio at 1.1%

By 2025, the domestic supply of apparel in Japan will account for only 1.1%, marking a record low and a 0.3 percentage point drop from 2024. The production volume has also decreased by 11.0% year-on-year to 53.41 million items, down from 100.78 million a decade ago. This trend highlights the challenges faced by the Japanese apparel industry amid globalization.
